US distributor secures panel supply for “US Made” solar kits
Fortune Energy just announced today that they signed a 5MW agreement with SolarWorld, the largest U.S. solar panel manufacturer, to supply solar modules for solar projects all over the United States, including Hawaii. Under the terms of the agreement, SolarWorld will provide a full product line featuring a variety of panels. Fortune Energy said they would recommend SolarWorld‘s modules for a variety of rooftop and ground-mounted applications. Solar World, whose manufacturing plant is based in California, said they would deliver the modules for Q3 2013.
SolarWorld is one of the world’s largest U.S. solar panel manufacturers, for more than 35 years. The company operates production facilities in Germany, Sweden and the USA. In California the largest production site in the USA for solar modules and in Oregon the largest production site in the USA for solar wafers and cells are being created.
Fortune Energy is distributing wholesale Solar/PV products, directly to solar industry professionals. They are turn-key product and service providers. They currently have 3 locations; Sacramento, Los Angeles and Hawaii.
“The combined strengths of the two companies will allow Fortune Energy to significantly expand its solar products and services to future and existing customers countrywide. This deal has allowed us to offer for the first time ever “US made” solar kits," said Jack Meng, president of Fortune Energy Inc. “The SolarWorld panels utilize the highest quality components available on the market. In addition, the units are designed for quick delivery and installation, which in the past has been rare within the solar panel industry,” he added.
All prices are in USD.
